That quote is one of my favorites from Jane Austen, used in Mansfield Park...
Anyways, life has truly been busy, I think I can officially say going to work doesn't terrify me anymore! I actually enjoy doing what I do now, though I'm still so far from knowing all I need to know about nursing... I work at St. Mark's hospital on the Medical/Oncology unit, I work days and nights, and never have the same schedule each week, which is fine because I don't have kids and Eric is pretty easy going. The acuity of my patients is pretty high, I think people are just getting sicker as the years go on. I'm just excited to make it 6 months, they say it gets easier from that point.
Eric is still working at Access Development, and doing so well! We probably won't hear about a job in Air Traffic Control until at least November, and then who knows when he'll start if he does get a job. And we'll most likely end up out of Utah again, probably about a 99% chance... He's pretty frustrated that he's not working where he wants to work, bless his heart...
So, we keep saving money, paying of loans, and spending lots of time with each other, which is nice! And for all my friends and family in Tennessee, no I'm not pregnant, and it looks like it will be a while before I have a baby... As you can imagine, its killing me! But we just need to be a little more settled (like, know where we're gonna live in 6 months!) before we need to introduce a little one into the family. Meanwhile, its nice to just pick up and go to a movie, go to dinner, etc, without having to find a babysitter and be home at a certain time!
We are planning a trip to Hawaii in November, hopefully! We attended a time share presentation and got a killer deal, just waiting on confirmation of availability!
We miss our friends and family in Tennessee!
