Recovery

My sweet family is making incredible progress! I arrived at my parent's house on a Wednesday, and early the next morning packed my mom up for the last of three surgeries to repair her injuries. I was able to stay with my mom in the hospital for most of the time she was there; she came home a day before any of us expected, and has been FLYING through her recovery! She hasn't had to use very much of her pain medication, has been up in the living room most days, and has a very positive and optimistic attitude throughout this whole situation. She loves to have her little grandchildren around her. She has an amazing congregation at church that has been bringing dinners, and a neighbor down the street has been doing her hair. We have been watching movie after movie, and absolutely LOVE spending time with my mom (and sister Katie)! We are looking forward to having my sister, Julie (broken ankle) and her kids spend the weekend with us. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers! We have been truly blessed!
