Eric and I have a special announcement: I am expecting!

These next two were taken earlier this week. The baby is healthy and has all his/her parts.
I am about 13 1/2 weeks along, and feel wonderfully humbled and so very blessed. My symptoms have been nothing to complain about, though they are definitely there; this helps me to know that the baby is safe and healthy, and growing. Eric and I had a hard time believing this was happening at the beginning. I took the test originally to confirm I wasn't pregnant, and looked forward to my infertility appointment in the next couple weeks. Now we are ecstatic, and look forward to being parents everyday.
I definitely feel slightly sheepish about my post a few posts ago... but I appreciate the support and love I felt after posting. And thank you for your patience in letting me vent! My emotions were very strong and raw. I know so many people who have waited much longer and been through much more in their attempts to bring a baby into their home. I continue to pray and think about you often. I hope to never take for granted what I have been given.
For those of you wondering, before Eric and I left Oklahoma, I saw a chiropractor from the ward who said he could help me. The whole situation was very inspired, now that I look back on it. I think this was a test of our faith (especially mine) that Heavenly Father is ever directing our life. We just had to wait for the right timing (Eric finally getting his offer and moving to Oklahoma), to meet this particular doctor, and to be settling in California with no impending move any time soon. I know He loves me and that He guides my life.

Heavenly Father knows us each individually and I think we have to learn to trust in His timing. Oh man, it's something that I have learned, yet have to continue to learn! Love you whole bunches!!
Congrats! This is so exciting. It's amazing how the Lord know the right time. We just need to allow things to happen in his time, even though it is hard.

You are a wonderful family already, prime pickin's to be imperfect parents like the rest of us! ha ha ha, but like the rest of us, you will not only love your child/ren unconditionally and beautifully, you will grown in many ways you didn't know and suspected you might need to. p.s. please don't ever regret your strong feelings a couple posts ago cause it will show your children how much you love them and wanted them. I had just posted a heart wrenching report that we'd lost that first baby/adoption when almost my next post a week later was to report that we were chosen for Evan. I hope he remembers to read that one day and feels the joy in that news! :) xo so excited for you!!!
